The Lunch Bunch

The Lunch Bunch: 10:00 till 1:00 Similar to the Mom’s Morning Out programs you can find at many churches, the Mom’s Lunch Out at Waldorf & Wonder caters to families that enjoy sleeping a little bit later and runs later to allow for Parents to enjoy lunch with friends or perhaps with just a book. During this three hour class kids will enjoy multiple components of the holistic Waldorf pedagogy such as music and movement, storytelling, puppetry, and art. Parents have the option of packing a lunch for their child or sending additional funds so a healthy lunch can be purchased for them from our neighbor business, Sweet Magnolia’s Cafe. One Day per week: $100/Month

Introduction to the Masters: Homeschool Art  Program: 2:00 till 3:00 Each lesson will feature a prominent artist from history, and their artistic techniques will be discussed and practiced. A wide variety of materials will be used for this class series. A supply list for each class will be provided the week before, so that students may bring their own materials, or parents can purchase a supply kit on arrival. This class is appropriate for all ages, as the material is universal and the practice of the techniques taught will focus on talent discovery as well as competency.

Homeschool Poetry and Creative Writing: Tuesdays 10:00 till 11:00  This semester-long class has three primary goals: to provide students with close-reading skills that will increase confidence when confronting poems (and other complex literary works), to instill a fundamental understanding of poetic forms and how to engage them, and to bring excitement to the reading process by enabling students in their pursuit of the imaginative, psychological, and linguistic pleasures found in a poem.
$160/semester (August 27- Dec 14)

Homeschool Poetry and Creative Writing




Homeschool Young Naturalists: Tuesdays 11:00-12:00 This course will foster your child’s appreciation and knowledge of their environmental surroundings. Taught by a Georgia Master Natruralist, by the end of this semester your homeschool student will be able to recognize and name a great deal of the flora and fauna found in north Georgia.

$160/semester (August 27- Dec 14)

Homeschool Young Naturalists




Literary Tea and Crafts Mondays 4:00 till 5:00 Enjoy tea time with beloved children’s literature such as The Little Prince, Peter Rabbit, Madeline, Winnie The Pooh, and more, then make crafts that reflect the story. Tea will be served in proper tea cups, and snacks will be served on fine china. Parents will be asked to take turns bringing a snack to share

Third Thursday Family Night: 6:00 till 7:00 Every third Thursday we will have a project the entire family can enjoy. All ages and skill levels welcome. Space is extremely limited, so please register as soon as possible to save your seat. Registration closes 48 hours before the start of the class.

$20/ per person. Some classes w have additional supply fees. See the individual event for supplies.
